Hi Nadhia,

I wanted to thank you again for the most lovely weekend ever. I can't wait to do it again.  

I've been listening to your CDs and thank you again for them as well. They are (and will continue to be) very helpful. 

On Monday I had lots of things to do around the house . . . but I compromised: rather than rush around getting everything done and losing myself in the process, I alternated each hour or two of housework with meditation. I also am adjusting my daily work hours to include fifteen minutes to meditate between clients.  

When I went to sleep last night, it was a little later than I planned, and I was not really looking forward to having to get up earlier to meditate. However, I slept so well because of my meditation that I woke up at 5:45 just before my alarm clock!    

I would write more but you'll understand if I head off to meditate now....

I found this explanation in a book and I thought you would find it interesting. 

“ Life flows like a river.  We can skim the surface or plunge more deeply into our experience.  It is solitude (meditation) that encourages and permits the experience of depth.  We become distracted by the surface of our lives.  Our thoughts scuttle and dart like water bugs skating on the glassy sheen of current events. Leading a life of quick, shallow contacts, we yearn for something deeper.”               ~ Julia Cameron

Last Monday, I was very calm, despite the chaos in my classroom. I felt like I had created some type of distance from the noise surrounding my body. I was in my body but I was not part of it.  The depth of stillness permeated every cell and every so often during the day I would see images of the water and the sky……
